Playtime PR Shortlisted For CIPR Excellence Awards

Playtime PR is thrilled to see one of its campaigns shortlisted for a prestigious CIPR Excellence Award.

Hosted by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, the Excellence Awards recognise and celebrate the outstanding work of individuals, teams and consultancies across the UK and overseas.

Playtime PR’s campaign for Asmodee UK’s visual storytelling game, Rory’s Story Cubes, is in the finals of the Integrated Campaign of the Year Category.

The campaign, built around National Storytelling Week, focused on the struggle some parents have when trying to conjure up stories from scratch for their children. Aided by former children’s laureate and renowned author, Michael Rosen, the campaign used independent research to underpin print, online and broadcast media coverage whilst also incorporating on-the-ground activity with Story Cubes’ product in libraries throughout the country.

Founder and managing director of Playtime, Lesley Singleton, said: “Even during these surreal and unusual times of lockdown, it’s wonderful for the team to have their work on this excellent campaign recognised at a national and international level.”

Results will be announced online in June 2020.
