The who, what, when, where and why…

Who am I?
I’m Lesley Singleton, a seasoned media relations professional who’s left the corporate world to set up a one-woman PR agency working with organisations I can get really passionate about.
What I do…
is anything you might need, PR-wise. From launch campaigns to ongoing press office support, product PR, proactive media relations, blogger outreach campaigns and even crisis management, I can help you with them all.

When…
I set up LS Media five years ago, I was a new parent who wanted to find a more flexible way of working so I could carry on with the stimulating job I loved while embracing family life. With two young children now, I’ve created a happy balance of professional and personal responsibilities. My clients value my adaptability and freedom as much as I do because it means I can focus on what they need, whenever they need it.

Where…
I learned my trade was with big names like Blockbuster, Monarch and KLM Airlines, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Really Useful Group, the Royal Bank of Scotland and Universal. My clients now span many different sectors. Some are traditional organisations who call on my long experience in consumer PR. Others are small businesses, onlines and start-ups, who’ve hired me because they’re comfortable with a one-to-one working relationship, they like my friendly approach and they find my expertise reassuring. Plus I’m excellent value compared to a typical PR agency.

Why…
do I have so many happy clients? Because working with people I like and admire is a huge motivation for me, so I go the extra mile for every client and every project. My professional flexibility has given me renewed passion for what I do. Inspiration, big PR ideas and new perspectives come from mixing up work, home and my diverse and interesting clients – it all adds up to results that tend to exceed everyone’s expectations. Of course, I would say that, but you don’t have to take my word for it. See what some of my clients have to say about me and the publicity I’ve generated for them.
If you like the sound of this, I’d love to hear from you to talk through the possibilities.
